1Up Show Returns as Co-op, Ask For Subscribers And Downloaders [EDIT]

EDIT:  The name of the show is actually Co-op.  The post is edited to reflect that.  Sorry for the misinformation, I need to get it under control…fast.

Following the unfortunate death of EGM and the lay off of many 1Up Staffers, Rebel FM was created.  They’ve been doing podcasts as regularly as possible, and the 1Up Show Team have just released the first episode of Co-0p.

Portal Gun Was a Triumph, Huge Success

Cue song, “Still Alive”, after the break.  This has to be the most well constructed cosplay accessory, ever.  Complete with orange and blue LED lights, emilyskeith has recreated the Aperture Science Hand-held Portal Device wonderfully.  Unfortunately, it can’t create blue and orange portals which you can endlessly fall through, but it sure makes Aperture Science look like a reality!  Now, if only I could find some tasty cake…

[Update] Video after the break from Xplay.  They interviewed Cliff Bleszinski about what the update entails and why it was done –as if it wasn’t obvious from the patch notes– as well as other questions concerning the game and it’s reception.  By the way, he’s been playing Fallout 3, and it has him “hook, line, and sinker.”  Sorry for the small video, G4 has terrible video scaling.  View it on their site here to mediate the issue.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Sure, it’s old news by now, but this video has been circulating around for the better part of a week which makes me think that not many people have seen it.  Or maybe the internet just isn’t done squeezing every possible drop of enjoyment from it.  Regardless, this comparison really shows how far The Conduit has come since it’s early development  Check after the break for an impressive developer diary as well.
