This rumor is a long shot, but it would be awesome. Do you remember Black? It was that game for PS2 and Xbox that had destructible environments, which at the time was quite innovative. It got decent scores across the board, but ultimately sank into the average range due to a lack of multiplayer.
The chain of reports which lead back to the Portuguese Eurogamer all state the same thing: Criterion Games had the name “Black: Second Mission” on their website as a game which would be released in 2009 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. If this rumor, which is unsubstantiated as there are no screenshots and only words, is actually real, maybe they could finally add the much asked for multiplayer. Until Criterion actually announces that this game is in development, however, take it as a full-blown rumor.
