I see a Phantom On The Horizon

I may be behind the times, but I found out today that The Fall of Troy released Phantom on the Horizon for digital download on their website. It is exactly what I would think, a rerecording and remix of the ghostship demos. Does it stand the test of time? A full review will follow in the coming days because I’m still downloading and listening to it. So please come and check back for a written review of the album.

Update: The album came out on the 28th according to the wiki page.

Monster Games finishing secret project, waiting on a thunderstorm and Igor

According to recent headlines, Monster Games, the developer that brought you Excite Truck for Wii, has been hard at work for the past two years on a super secret video game. So secret one could say they’re keeping it under lock-and-key. The twenty developers who’ve been hard at work on this game are required to turn their monitors off or darken them when the bottled-water delivery man enters the office. They swallowed both the lock and the key, apparently.

The Wii, Where Does It Stand Today?

The Wii just recently celebrated it’s second birthday, but how far has it actually come since then. Since it’s release, there have been only a handful of games catered to the hard core. The most noticable of which are The Legend of Zelda: Twighlight Princess, Metroid Prime: Corruption, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, and Mario Kart Wii. Sure, there have been a few others here and there like Rayman Raving Rabids, but do those games actually make you want to play your Wii again?

Thanksgiving Dinner

This post is purely an update on Thanksgiving dinner. It may have been was the most full-filling Thanksgiving dinner I’ve had in a while. — Sorry Grandma! — The turkey was actually baked that day, as opposed to the day before; the stuffing was better than that stuff your mom finds in grocery stores; and to top it all off, we had apple pie. Boy, oh boy did I miss apple pie. In a generous mindset, I brought Gabe a bottle of whiskey, which he loves, because he had been standing all day making this delicious meal for us Americans and the few Australians that were invited.

Macy’s Get’s RickRolled

By now, the internet has burst into laughter after learning that the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was rickrolled. And it’s a classic. There aren’t many words to describe rickrolls, so watch the video and bask in its glory.
